For the months of March and April 2009, Heartspring Yoga and Zafu Zafu of Barrie, Ontario, Canada are donating 10% of all sales of yoga and meditation supplies to Freeing the Human Spirit, a Toronto, Ontario-based charity that sends certified yoga & meditation teachers into prisons to teach inmates, in honour of FTHS founder Sister Elaine MacInnes’ 85th birthday.

As a registered & certified yoga teacher, I have been volunteering for this charity for some time now, and can attest to the difference this makes for the inmates.
